Alan, Cassia, Solomon, and Shamira go to a terrible school. The classes are exhausting, the work never ends, and on top of all of that, they've each got their own unique problems to deal with.

It all seems hopeless until a clown named Hullabaloo suddenly appears. Somehow, with just a quick gesture, she can make fun things appear out of thin air, like a pogo stick, trampoline, water balloons, and swimming pools. By the time she's done, just about everyone feels a lot happier.

But Hullabaloo has to be careful, because the school is run by a cold-hearted woman known as "The Principal," whose terrifying powers keep students on their best behaviors. To make things worse, Kalev, another student, doesn't like Hullabaloo either, and he wants nothing more than to catch her and reveal who she really is. But he will need The Principal's help in order to do it. If she finds out about Hullabaloo...let's just say, it won't be fun.
