It has been three months since one of the greatest men I knew, Sheridan Hull, died to ensure the tyrannical actions of Moriarty, the head of a criminal syndicate known as Chimaera, were not brought to fruition. In those three months, I have pondered. I have wondered about the events that took place not so long ago, and considered whether the outcome was the only one possible. But unfortunately, I am not able to change the past.What I can do, however, is revisit it, and shed light on events that were formerly requested to be kept from reading eyes. There were cases which Hull specifically requested I omit from my published works. But I feel it necessary to share them nonetheless, because while my first collection showed a very central line, the line in which the great detective brought down the reign of an all-too powerful criminal mastermind, these cases reflect on a very different side of Hull. These cases are, in my opinion, far more dark and dismal than the others. These are the ones even Hull did not want to remember.These are the Posthumous Chronicles.
