Practical

Very practical and helpful. I appreciated John MacArthur's recommendation of how to read through the Bible, which I am applying in my personal Bible reading time. It's helping me get soaked with Scripture. Great little read!

How to Study the Bible

I use this book for discipling some of the youth at my church. This book has a lot of good basic and not so basic information for young and old Christians alike. This book speaks not only on how to study the Bible but also why we should should study the Bible and the benefits of doing so. Each chapter has review questions to help improve retention. Even being raised in a Bible believing church and family, I wish I had been taken through this book as a teenager. I believe that this book is a great way to help prepare students for doing their own personal Bible Study which is even more crucial as they get out on their own.

......of using this as a intro book for a "babe" in the Holy Christian faith, I will have to get more! I admit, I could not put it down! It Is a gripping "call" on both how and WHY the Bible is vital to the "Spiritual Health" of the believer! Good stuff!
