THIS BOOK WAS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

This book was everything I wanted. It was advertised to be a "primer" which by definition means a book that covers the basic elements of a subject. As someone in the thinking stage of starting a home based collection agency I found this book extremely helpful. I now have a resource that gives me basic information related to various state license contacts, collection software, useful links, freelance help, the Fair Debt Collection Act, sample collection / sale letters and more. This is the type of information I wanted. Should I decide to start this type of home-based business, I will then search out additional (and more expensive) information from sources like The American Collectors Association. If someone has an extensive hands-on debt collection experience and broad industry knowledge, this may not be the book for you. I do not have such a background and found this book to be an excellent beginners guide.

This is truly a book for people seeking a legitimate work-at-home business... easy to understand, it answered a lot of questions. It's essential reading for anyone considering a home based business, and an inexpensive way to get a glimpse of this kind of business and what it entails!
