GREAT Real World Stories!

The stories in this book are priceless! There are quite a few books on the market about selling homes and how to get them sold in a slow market or a declining market. This book is the best. It delivers a powerful package of preparing the home for sale, which doesn't just mean staging techniques. It means preparing the home's "look and feel", as well as preparing the proper marketing pieces and attaching the correct marketing channels. There is a lot of information about price positioning that I have not seen in any other book, and a lot of great marketing ideas. The book doesn't just end there, however, like most of these books - it takes you step by step through the process and outlines how to avoid the landmines that come up through the buyer's mortgage process, the home inspection process and even has a mini-guide on how to deal with your own lender if you have the challenge of owing more than the home is worth. The book does a beautiful job outlining all the sales methods and why certain ones work better than others. Just an outstanding book. Congratulations!

Highly Entertaining & Enormously Educational

How to Sell Your Home in Any Market: 6 Reasons Why Your Home Isn't Selling... and What You Can Do to Fix Them is a great read from start to finish. Not only does the book outline all the things you can do wrong when selling a home (and how to do them right) but it also leads you through the process of a home sale to "bullet proof" your transaction. One of the strengths of the book is a full explanation of how to do a "short sale" and negotiate with the bank. The stories throughout the book are priceless, and I really think they hit home with the methods to insure YOUR home sells when others aren't. The perfect book for a slow market in home sales!

Great Book with Lots of Examples

What makes a good book great is to deliver good material in an entertaining way. This book delivers. Loren spells out the reasons homes sell or don't sell regardless of market conditions, and ways to insure that your home is the 1 in 10 that sells next month in your neighborhood! His use of stories, examples and photos to outline what works and why is first class. I highly recommend this book!

I loved this book!

"How to Sell Your Home in Any Market" is really a great read. It's both entertaining and chock full of great information. The author outlines the reasons some homes sell and others don't. Then he goes through techniques for staging a home, how to price a home the right way and why some agents aren't completely honest in their pricing. He explains lots of different marketing ideas, websites, and advertising methods and then he starts talking about "desperation methods". He also has a start to finish outline of the selling process, and explains some differences when selling a home on your own or using a Realtor. But what really set this book apart was all the real life stories. For every section, he has a couple stories explaining how each technique was used and what made it work. Really terrific!
