His name is Montaque Summers and he has written a chilling masterpiece about the origin, nature and reproduction of vampires as though they really exist. He is known mostly for his scholarly work on the English drama of the 17th century. He was responsible for the first English translation, published in 1928, of the notorious 15th-century witch hunter's manual.
