Both are designed to give you the keys and sign posts that you need to be able to understand the Bible when you read it and have the Power of God for deliverance when you need it. This book teaches the students how to read the Bible for themselves.We are going to get into the topics of How we got the Bible and How the Bible interprets itself. These are foundational sessions that we need to learn and remind ourselves of so that we can rightly divide The God's Word. If you're new to God's Word then these are some of the foundational understanding that you will need to know. If you have knowledge on these subjects than it is good to remind yourselves of these truths. This understanding will help you throughout the rest of the program.It is most important for all of us that we learn and know how to rightly divide The Word of God so that we can be Workman that are not ashamed of our work. We will learn how to let The Word of God speak for itself.When you get to the sessions and chapters on the topics of "How We got our Modern Bibles" and "To Whom the Bible is Written," you will receive a little history lesson on how we got these modern Bibles. We're going to start in the Scriptures and learn the Apostles Doctrine and how God had the Apostle Paul augmented and expanded the doctrine in the Church Epistles. Than a brief look at the history of the Christian church as it pertains to how we got our modern Bible.Understanding to whom the Bible is written gets rid of all kinds of apparent contradictions or what we called discrepancies in God's Word. You will see as we go through this lesson that there are certain parts of the Bible that are written to different groups of people at different times in history. You will see that God has had to work with mankind differently in different situations because of the conditions that man has put himself in.
