FANTASTIC book on Monarch Butterflies for any age group

I discovered this book in 2019 and was absolutely fascinated with it. The book takes you step by step through the lifecycle from egg to adult Monarch, which take about a month. It also shows you how to tell male from female Monarchs. The photos are fantastic and the text is for any age group, not just kids. Monarch butterflies only lay their eggs on milkweed (there are several types of milkweed) as it is the only food the caterpillars eat. I already had Common Milkweed (that had self-planted) growing in my yard so I thought I would trying raising Monarchs. Since 2019, I have raised and released 326 monarchs. I also have shared the milkweed seeds I harvest with the the city I live in. They are happy to add them to their native Minnesota seed collection, which they distribute/plant around city property. Monarchs on the eastern side of the Rocky Mountains, that are born at the end of summer, migrate to Mexico for the winter. (There is a migration chapter in the book). Monarchs are endangered. Only 1 in 100 eggs in the wild survive to adulthood. You don't have to raise Monarchs to enjoy this book but you can plant the flowers that the Monarchs love to get nectar from such as Black-eyed Susans and Purple Coneflower, as mentioned in the book. I think so highly of this book that I have given numerous copies of this book as gifts.
