Have you ever pondered where poverty stems from? Could it be that it is actually more of a mental phenomenon than a money issue? Why do you think a person could be rich today and then suddenly become poor? Sometimes, it even seems as though it is easier to go from being rich to becoming poor, especially due to unforeseen and often unfavorable occurrences such as chronic illness, economic downturn, bankruptcy, wrong business choices and so on. These are all dynamics of how money is made and lost too. It is important to stress this from the beginning that poverty is a phenomenon with different dimensions to it. People can get rich by the stroke of luck, for example, a jackpot, and then lose all the money in a twinkle of an eye.On the other hand, some folks are poor because of several reasons. Isn't it funny, looking at it objectively, to say that a person is poor simply because he has no money? Yet every other day, people are breaking the circle of poverty and achieving financial freedom. I know there are a lot of theatrics to this, but hold on a minute, we shall explore all of those soon enough.Poverty has been defined amongst many things to be the presence of lack. This lack is often seen in the fact that those who suffer it are barely able to afford the basic necessities of life. They practically struggle to live by. There are different levels of poverty. Some people speak of living in abject poverty while some others are experiencing poverty at milder levels.Now, the truth remains that we can judge, at least from a distance, whether a person is rich or poor (or very poor) by the amount of money he wields or he has available to him at a particular period of time. That said However, that is not really what determines if a person is truly rich or poor. I'll explain fully as we go on.
