The author's concise to the point writing style makes every page count. The book is well researched and the author gets his message across clearly and without repetition. While the author warns in the preface that he comes across more fiercely in writing than in person, it is evident that this book was intended to help the reader. Since it addresses all seven deadly sins there's something in it for everyone.

This book, which has 100+ pages contrary to the description, is tightly written in a compact, high information density style. It gives the Scriptural basis for each sin, examples of how it manifests itself, and more importantly, help and encouragement on overcoming the sins. It is highly organized with many section and paragraph headings which make it easy to read and understand. This and the author's Bible study book have been used as effective evangelism tools to reach people with inquiring minds but who are put off by the hocus pocus added to Christianity by many lay people.
