They tell me that my chicken pot pie is best meal of their lives.

I have had two people tell me that my chicken pot pie was the best meal of their lives. I don't necessarily believe that hyperbole, but it made me feel good anyway. I generally think quite highly of Cooks' Illustrated books. The other dish that I am known for (short ribs) comes from their restaurant specials cookbook, though I made my own modification of adding dried cranberries.

i love this book becase i has the best guide lines on how to make the best pies i made a great pie the best i had in my life. it is a great cook book and i think that it sould be more of a cook book than a book ...i may sound like i am pojest with cook books but i like to cook!
