Finished in 4 hours and cried twice.

Great advice on love. Each chapter can be boiled down to an essential sentence however that would be a disservice to the authors lived experiences and recollective skill.

Practical and Powerful

I loved this book and plan to order one for each of my 3 adult children. Biblically based principles with scriptural authority and simple-practical application illustrations... If you ever wondered if someone loves you or have trouble demonstrating love, read & do the things Charles presents here. It is based on God's truth & once again, Charles Shedd makes it an enjoyable but convicting read... much like his other books. What a blessing!

I've had this book for years and I pick it up every now and then. It's a feel good book that reminds you how you can make others feel good too. I would compare it to the "Chicken Soup" books, except that these shorter stories start with a bible verse and then give a real-life example of how to live it.
