"Terrifying, fascinating, and important." --Sara Sheridan, author of Where Are the Women? and The Fair BotanistsNothing brings people together like a common enemy, and witches were the greatest enemy... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The subject is heavy, but the book is very well organized and extremely interesting, which made for an excellent read. Not dusty or at all dry, the writing is vibrant with the stories of real women inserted as short vignettes throughout. The late chapter on modern day persecution of woman and girls as witches is truly eye-opening. I recommend this one.
