Exactly what I was looking for...

I'm preparing to sell my house and this book is exactly what I wanted to help me figure out what I needed to do, what I could do, and what I shouldn't bother with. On top of it's rather useful information, it's highly readable. I was afraid it would be overly wordy or bogged down with real estate-y stuff, but it's an easy read for your casual non-DIYer home seller. I wouldn't recommend that you use this as your reference on your first flip or anything, but if you want to sell your house and prepare it as well as possible first, this book suits.

Read this book in an afternoon, and you'll never look at your home the same way again. It contains literally hundreds of sensible ideas and tips for adding bottom-line value to your home. Moreover, it gives you practical tools and information for deciding which projects are worth doing (and which ones are not), and which ones to do first. If you have ever remodeled without first reading this guide, then you were working in the dark.

This book has helped me a lot. The authors certainly know what they're talking about. This easy to use book is incredibly helpful. I would recommend it not only to homeowners but also to real estate investors.

I used this book to help me with my new home purchase. This book provides details on how to make the most of your renovations, what key decisions you should make prior to starting the work and what improvements will be give you top dollar should you decide to sell. For me, I was building a brand-new home and I wanted ideas on what styles were "in",a perspective on what buyers are looking for in today's market and what appliances give you a good return for your money. The authors did a superb job in outlining all of this plus some. The book was so awesome I read it in one day! I have recently learned by following their advice and making upgrades I would have not thought of, the value of my home has gone up $50,000. I recommend this book for not only anyone looking to make renovations but for those in the market to buy a new or older home. KUDOS to the authors! Their hard work in research and dedication has proved to be a winning investment!
