Inside and Personal - a fun book to read.

I didn't expect this book to be much fun to read, but it's easy to read, not heavy on theory or preachy: it's down to earth, practical advice. You get a feeling how this guy does it. Whatever he does, he wants to write about it: when Bly watches TV, he's there with a notepad - really! He wrote a book on Star Trek trivia. Even if you're not a writer, this is a fun book to read.

Having this book is like "money in the bank" -- follow its instructions and you will certainly find print. Even more, you will learn to think and work like a prolific wordsmith who can turn ideas into profit. This book is thorough and is good for beginners, dreamers and veterans of the writing trade (or profession). It covers everything from getting a good idea to selling it to traditional publishers. It also includes meaty portions on self-publishing and the current trend of publishing on the internet. A great book to start with

While working at a 9 to 5 job, I read this book, and it got me thinking that I could write non-fiction books. I followed Robert's advice and wrote a proposal, which got accepted by a publisher. I immediately quit my job. I'm now writing my third non-fiction book.

Great book if you write non-fiction

I've always found Robert bly's books very interesting and informative. This one I especially like since I have a dream of getting my book published. I honestly believe that with the step-by-step approach that Bly has used successfully dozens of times, I will finally see my dream become a reality. Another great job!!
