Relating to Jane!

Michael's book is a sweet tale of two NYC transfers to LA told via Dick and Jane. Luckily, my path has been more like Jane's but 'HOW TO GET ARRESTED' would have made it alot easier. It would have given me all of the reference material for life in LA from one little book instead of running around looking for the 'answers' and struggling to 'figure it all out'. I only wish I could have read it on my flight from NYC!

Well Worth Your Time

While the title caught me off guard at first, this is a quick and very inspiring read. You know the acronym KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid)? Well Mr. Wallach does exactly that ... and in this story he gives not only aspiring actors a booster shot of adreneline, but it can have that effect for anyone who has a goal in life and has been "slouching off". This book cuts right through all the Hollywood crap and gets to the heart of the matter. There's a right way to do things and a wrong way in trying to reach your goals. The more focused you are, the harder you work ... the luckier you get. Are you an out of work actor, or just someone who needs to make a change in life. Read the book, and get moving!

Very motivational for anyone!

My actor friend gave me this book and said, "I know you're not an actor, Aimee, but it is really helpful as a motivator for someone's life." I read the book and found that it really is motivational. It shows how to handle yourself in all kinds of situations, especially when you're up for a job. And, I had fun following what the characters were up to in Hollywood. Great book!

Truly truly fabulous

This book is fabulous! Now you can easily gauge where you stand in relation to your business practices... In "How to Get Arrested" there are two main characters who function as [we] actors, writers, filmmakers, etc. do. In this story, you will notice that you may already act as one of the two main characters. There is a protocol to do your business. This book shows you how. If you are more advanced, it'll reaffirm your committment to your art. If you follow Author's lead you will be on a straighter path toward your destiny to realize your dreams, whatever they may be.
