How to Gain Wisdom?: Knowledge, Intelligence, Wisdom and Success

We often think of knowledge, intelligence and wisdom as they are synonymous. Although they are related there are slight differences between them. Let me define them in simple terms. Knowledge means knowing complex information specific to a subject. Intelligence means having a capacity in general to understand complex matters. Wisdom means taking right course of action in complex scenarios. We need all the three for a successful life. Without intelligence we cannot acquire knowledge. Without knowledge we cannot gain wisdom. And without wisdom we cannot be successful. If one is not born with adequate intelligence he or she will need the knowledge needed to acquire intelligence. This may be in the form of steps to improve intelligence. We all become knowledgeable with experience. However, the knowledge is limited to specific areas based on our experiences. Wisdom comes from higher-level knowledge of all higher aspects of life, to enable us to decide by taking into considerations, the relative importance of all relevant aspects. This comes from comprehensive study of important aspects of life. This book covers the knowledge needed to improve both intelligence and wisdom.
