Deal with it! How To Deal gives today's teenagers the low down about coping with the unique challenges facing young adults including peer pressure, school, friends and social drama, drugs and alcohol,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
My 15 year old son found the book to be very useful due to the fact that it was right to the point. I was amazed when he commented about something that was in the book, that I had been trying to advise him on repeatedly. It wasn't that the message was so different; it was, as he said the way Dr. Weichman put in into his words. He never thought about putting it that way. My son doesn't read a lot, but he read this book and I believe it will make a big difference in his life, as Dr. Weichman has.
Easy and applicable read

How to Deal was a really quick and easy read. The book is written in "regular" language and offers practical tools that teens can use to get through high school and just life in general. The tips he gives are easy enough to conceptualize and try out. Plus it's not like the other cheesy teenager books I have bought for our family in the past where the author clearly has no idea what it's like to be a teen today. The book is put together in a format that's easy to follow and it has a lot of funny stories from the Dr. Jerry's real life. Highly recommended for your teenagers, though you might like reading it too.
