I have no idea how to review this - I've been struggling with it for 2 days now. Sigh.
Did I love this book? No. No I did not. I DID however, like it way more than book 2; it felt less rushed, more fleshed out, and much of it really did hold my attention [Aunt Frances' part of the story was the most compelling for me and I enjoyed those parts the best]. I DID get bogged down with some of the "present" time story [several things I guessed early on, and while excited to be right {WHOOT}, I was also vaguely disappointed, if that makes sense] and I struggled with several of the characters [there was a bit of an ICK factor in this one]; I DID really enjoy the narrators this time around. I guess I have settled in there and I hope they continue to narrate the future books.
Overall, I liked it well-enough. I guess. I don't know. I'm just not 100% sure how I feel about all of it. Given how it ends though, I know I'll read #4 because apparently I am invested now. LOL.
