Positive thinking has not yet been defined by the psychology community. However, some academics have suggested that having a positive mentality includes being content, in control, stable, motivated and optimistic. Since our thoughts, emotions and behavior are all controlled by our mind, it is not surprising that this definition of a good attitude is so broad.
