This is the ONLY BOOK OF ITS KIND AVAILABLE. It contains comprehensive information and usable strategies for success in one of the most popular and pricey real estate markets in the world. The author is a practicing real estate agent in Hawaii, offering extensive professional knowledge and long experience to Hawaii residents and newcomers alike. The book is highly readable, amusingly written, teaches by example, and defines "jargon" in the rare cases it is used. It is aimed at "real people," average and actual home buyers and sellers, but is a valuable tool for agents as well. How to evaluate real property in what is effectively a "foreign country" is detailed, explicit and critically important to those who may not be familiar with it. There is also detailed information on mortgage loans - and how they differ in Hawaii - especially useful to first-time buyers. The chapter "Only in Hawaii" gives newcomers a big head start on what they need to know to get into the market successfully. It could well be worth many thousands of times its price. And it was also fun to read. This is a good book!

Great info for home buyers and fellow realtors alike

I recommend this book for both regular folk looking to buy or sell property in Hawaii and to my fellow realtors. There are facts, tips and inof the "lay person" can use and there is info for the realtor to use as info to help those who ahven't read the book.
