A Girl of God Becoming a Woman of God!

This child of God tells it like it is as she overcomes and matures from a young girl into a beautiful woman of God, wife, and mother. I gave it five stars and a plus for making me frequently laugh, which I needed as my wife of 23 years having cancer went to Heaven. Great direction for young people...

I greatly enjoyed the book and reading about Christy's real life experiences with real life issues. I will keep this book close to me so that my children can read it and benefit from it as they come to deal with issues discussed. I can't imagine having a better tool to help, guide, and encourage young people.

A Captivating, Practical and Exciting Book

Christy's book is poignant, interesting, relevant, and written with refreshing honesty and a clarity that leaves readers understanding deep Biblical truths and excited about living them in the day to day details of life. It is fast paced, captivating, and thought provoking. This book is a great catalyst for personal reflection as well as small group discussion on each core value for students and young adults. I loved reading it and bought copies for both of my daughters, one in her twenties and married, the other in college. It is encouraging and challenging for all ages and could be the most important graduation gift a high school or college student receives this year.

Practical and Real

This is an excellent book that addresses deep spiritual issues out of real life experiences. The book has a good and interesting pace and you will not be bored. Brawner writes in a way that shows she is a person who lives in the real world and is not trying to be super spiritual or fake. I would recommend this book to all but especially young adults who will or are facing many of the same issues as the author.

Couldn't put it down

This book is a must-read for anyone with children. It would also make a great birthday present for a teenager.
