I was everyone's favorite teacher, until I became one.
Many kids tell you what they want to be when they grow up; few actually do it. I told everyone I knew I was going to be a teacher one day, and I was determined to follow through with it, at literally any cost. Follow me on a year in my life as a senior in college, when I completed a student teaching program in order to make a dream career, misguided and deranged as it was, come true, with the help (or lack thereof) of a few bad friends and an even worse roster of college professors.
