How I Fought My Battles: Your Greatest Battle Is Your Greatest Testimony

From childhood, I struggled with demons and with demonic oppression I can remember demons surrounding my bed and they once told me, "I have your soul, and no one can help you." What can a four-year old do to deserve for these demons to try to take my soul so soon? At age eleven, I was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor and on September 9, 1999, after 15-hours of emergency surgery at Emory Hospital, a 1.5 lb. tumor was removed. The doctor, who did not believe in God, told my mother that I would more than likely be a vegetable for the rest of my life. After the surgery, I went through a very long recovery process and for about nine months, I was in a near vegetable state, bedridden, and treated by nurses. I was told by an atheist doctor that I would never walk again. But I'm here to tell you I'm walking and doing well. On June 11, 2001, at the age of twelve, I went through a second brain tumor operation. This time, after 12-hours of surgery, a massive 2.5 lb. brain tumor was removed by a Christian doctor, who told us that he could remove the brain tumor because he believed that his hands were directed by God. Although the previous doctor told us that I'd never walk or talk again, I woke up from the surgery and spoke clearly, and asked for my mom. The Christian doctor also told me that I have a calling for my life. For 18 years, I had epilepsy and mild seizures, but I am now seizure-free and consider myself to be a walking miracle. I know that God is on my side, and He has a plan for my life. For many year's I blamed God for all of the things I went through. But it wasn't His fault, it was only my battle and my journey that I had to fight for But my faith would be tested again and again, as I face neurofibromas that plagued my entire body. On July 20, 2016, I had many multiple neurofibromas removed. Will I continue to find tumor growths, and will I have to have more surgeries? No matter how it may be, I know one thing for sure, that I have an almighty God on my side who will always help me to fight my battles.As you read through the pages of this book, you will discover that my battles were real and they were life-threatening, but no matter what battles you and I may face on this earth, always know that we have a heavenly Father who is always on our side and no devil or the works of darkness will ever prevail over us, because greater is He who is in us, than the one that is in this world.
