In part 1, I talked about how life takes us in directions we never plan on going. I never imagined that it would take me in the direction where I would be hit as hard as I was with tragedy. Tragedy always seems to interrupt the best days of your life. Even with the wrong turns I have made in life, the journey will always help me to evaluate my life and see where I can make changes. Through this journey, I learned a lot of valuable lessons. The biggest lesson that I learned was no matter what obstacles come your way, face them with an open mind and take accountability for your actions. I received my biggest blessing, which is my son, and I am the happiest mother in the world because of him. I am thankful for all the wrong relationships I have been in. They taught me, changed me, strengthened me and prepared me for the right one. Each day I am finding a way to deal with the hurt, and I know that better days are coming my way. With everything I have been through, I can say I enjoyed this journey. There were many twists and turns, but I don't regret any part of it because it's helping me make better choices as I move forward in my life.
