This is one of the best self-help books I've ever read about self-esteem. It's a short and easy read but the real help comes if you actually think about and work through the exercises. The book does more than "point fingers" at causes of poor self esteem. Instead it deals with practical ways to work through issues and accomplish healing. This is the type of book you want to own so you can return to it whenever your image of yourself starts feeling tarnished.

This is one of the best self-help books I've ever read about self-esteem but it's not a book to merely read and set aside. If a person sincerely works-through the exercises suggested by author, Helen M. Johnson in this book, it will help them to achieve better self-esteem. At a mere 105 pages, it's a quick "read" but it takes much longer to work through if you are serious about improving your self-image. It's a great book to return to whenever your self-esteem starts feeling a little tarnished.
A must read for anyone that struggles with low self esteem.
