Excellent read

Christine explains drifting away from God and finding your way back to Him. Using the bell of defeat the Navy Seals use to quit when they can't take it anymore as an example, she delves deep into scripture with personal experiences touching on subjects as controlling, wandering, & isolating to name a few. Using Hebrews 2:1-4 drifting and Hebrews 6:19 anchoring the book explains, encourages, and identifies struggles you maybe facing by drifting away from God, the reasons and your justifications why you are, and how to stop and get back on track to the God given path that is set before you.

Ahoy, Anchors Away

This is one of my favorite books by Christine Caine! She’s real, she writes with heart, compassion and soul. All her books are from her own life lessons and experiences . In this book, “How did I Get Here?,” Christine explains from her own experience that even those who have a close walk with God or have been walking with God for years, can come to a point of feeling “How did I Get Here?.” This is especially true, if you have been fighting the same battle for years and not seeing victory , or answered prayers; you can be left with wondering what you did to deserve it. Christine reassures you, you have not done anything to deserve your circumstances, rather God is preparing you a specific task. The more you feel left adrift , the bigger the blessing. God has not abandon you, He’s still listening; He’s preparing all the details behind the scene. Christine encourages you in this book to be still, listen and be patient.
