Maxwell E. Carter Jr. was born to the second reunion to Mr. Maxwell E. Carter Sr. and Mrs. Jesse M. Carter, on April 5, 1943. The eldest, but now deceased, Miss Dorothy L. Carter, Mrs. Elsie M. Carter Free, Mr. Melin E. Carter, Rev. Richard E. Carter, Mr. Larry D. Carter and last but not least Mt. Kevin D. Carter.

Maxwell attended East Waco, Texas Elementary School, J. N. Jenkins, which was very rural and segregated school, and G. W. Carver High School Waco, Texas. He had served and was a retired US army. He was part of two campaigns in South Vietnam and had other duties in the continental America.

Maxwell is a graduate of Sawyer College and Durham College, just to name a couple. Maxwell has five children and a host of grandkids and great-grandkids. He is a minister of the gospel and other traits. God Bless and keep you
