Considered one of, or the greatest prophet by many religions his ministry lasted for over sixty years. He was a friend of Isaiah who lived in the Southern Kingdom and they both were to me very human in their heart felt love of the Holy Land and the people they were trying so desperately to save from themselves. Through the centuries these prophets have suffered greatly on our behalf, and we would do well to remember without their sufferings, pleading and prayers , we would have been destroyed long ago. but then God always prevails does He not?
