There is no way to truly rate this movie as it is all over the place, but well-crafted vs a hodgepodge of scenes.
I would definitely not give it a top rating because it had a large percentage of flashbacks. Instead of a straightforward progressing story, they had to do out-of-sequence flashbacks to review the moment of what is unseen.
She is dead, he is accused, and Pony, his best friend, believes in his innocence. Just when nothing worse can go wrong, he sprouts horns.
Will the lovers be revenged?
Will the mysterious whodunit work its way out?
Will we ever look at doughnuts in the same way?
Daniel Radcliffe is known for weird movies; this time, he got weird right.
Keith Bunin (screenplay). The filming locations are Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
At the time of this review, I have not read the book to contrast.
