Childhood best friends, Sundai and Murda have always been inseparable. But when life takes a tragic turn for the worst, they suddenly find themselves split up and forced to go their own way. Murda connects with his uncle, who is also Shreveport's biggest supplier, and ends up becoming his personal assassin. Sundai turns to dancing to survive, but unfortunately becomes addicted to the very same drugs Murda's uncle is pushing. Learning to live without each other becomes a challenge for both of them, that is until they reconnect with the help of a mutual friend.

After vowing to never leave each other again, Sundai and Murda decide to do the unthinkable and try their hand at a relationship. For a while all is well, and life appears to be looking up for them. But just like before, their happily ever after quickly turns into a nightmare. When an unknown yet familiar enemy steps on the scene, Murda soon discovers that he is now on the other side of the gun. With he and Sundai's life in danger, he formulates a plan of his own behind his uncle's back as a desperate measure to keep them alive. Sundai, on the other hand, resorts to other means of coping with her problems.
