Recently single, jobless, and soon to be without a home, Hope turns to Helen and Gertie, owners of 'Two Old Ladies With a Lot of Yarn' for a job. Her experience with yarn and knitting is limited to the pair of knitting needles she uses to put up her hair, but none the less, Helen and Gertie see more in Hope and take her under their wings. With her best friend Mattie by her side, and her new friends Philip, Helen, and Gertie, Hope realizes that life can be an amazing journey.
