Hey, Patterson! Didn't you think we'd notice?

In James Patterson's book, "Alex Cross, Run," pub date 2013, he kills off a character and has them cremated. In "The Return of Alex Cross - Hope to Die," pub date 2014, that same character is alive, well, and working with Alex as a computer genius. This put me off completely, and I tossed the book away. Poor plotting, Patterson, or just laziness? You thought fans of Alex Cross wouldn't NOTICE??? For shame...

I'm addicted to Alex Cross!

I seriously have a hard time putting down the books long enough to eat! Luckily I'm retired and don't have to go to work!
