Aileen Y. Deane was born in Georgetown, Guyana and came to Canada in 1972. In 1986, she was led by God into managing her own ceramics business for fifteen years, during which time she received a poem from the Lord.

Inspired to continue writing, by God's grace, in 2003 she published a book of inspirational poems, Hope from the Start, encouraging and giving hope to the hopeless. Aileen also published a childrens' book and three CDs of recited poems with musical accompaniment.

She's again being blessed in publishing Hope of Glory, which enlightens all readers to Christ's desire for all to inherit newness of life in light of God's glory and grace and unconditional love.
