Journey from the gates of hell to heaven's door in this extraordinary story. Hope in the Darkness is one man's spiritual journey from the fall from grace to conversion, personal miracles, the power of prayer warriors, and redemptive suffering. Travel alongside the author as he treks through the brutal winters in his long robe and sandals, offering his pain and sacrifice to a higher power. With near death experiences and overwhelming personal tragedies, he fights his demons and is stripped of everything, but still finds he has much to give. In a story that will take you from the tough inner city of Buffalo, New York, and Siberia in Russia to the scorching sun of Texas, Hope in the Darkness is a powerful story of unbreakable faith, courage, the human spirit, and the healing power of prayer. From the author-please note that a total of 15 percent of the profit from this book will be donated to the following: The Wounded Warrior Project, St. Luke's Mission, and the Hope in the Darkness Project, which is a nonprofit organization I am founding to help troubled youth and others. In addition, some copies of the book will be given to youth at nationwide detention centers to help remind them that it is never too late for redemption.
I have met this gentleman in person, at church. Reading his journey was very fascinating and awe inspiring. I gave four stars because, from a literary grammar stand point, there are quite a few typos. His story telling is great though. I have always believed in God and have always been drawn to Catholicism, but my family doesn’t believe nor support the Catholic religion. So having help from Thomas, by way of his story and when I see him at Mass, and my best friend, I feel like I have a great support system.
I would definitely suggest reading this book!
