Recent decades have brought western cultural shifts, which have also led to broken homes and broken lives. Oftentimes, the breakdown of the family unit has led to residual sin that has affected not only the next generation, but several generations. Family brokenness can encompass a wide array of issues from divorce, the death of a loved one, a troubled marriage, or even mental health issues. Everybody is affected in some way by the residual effects of broken families.
