Consice & Simple Quick Read: Intro to CU

This is an incredible read that I purchased from his hopeforallfellowship website. If you've already read his previous book "Hope Beyond Hell," let me assure you that this new book is not merely more of the same. The content used from his previous work is negligible and is thus a totally fresh take on the subject of the Blessed Hope. The old saying goes that "one shouldn't judge a book by its cover," but I beg to differ (I don't like cliches anyway!). The cover itself is alluring from the get-go because of its aesthetics--props to. Believe me when I say that the beauty of this cover is not misleading. The content of the book itself gives a nearly irresistible (for most) walk-through of the incredibly deep and profound love of the Creator of all, toward these same created humans. The chapter contents of main body of the book is a mere 105 pages in length, so it is a quick and simple read of the perfect length. It all is made memorable because all ten anchor points represented in their corresponding ten chapters, are summarized at the end for easy referencing and recall. I appreciated how the body text of the book was so concise and to the point, without getting bogged down with technicalities or even chapter and verse references, placing these and more thorough elaborations of the content to the footnotes in the back. Rest assured that these essential footnotes are very information packed, edifying, curiosity-satisfying, and resourceful. Not only are the referenced books and people of invaluable importance, but so are the interesting and accurate translations used here. The book has made me look into some of these New Testament translations that for a change, do not have the eternal conscious torment bias embedded into the end product. The Q&A at the end of the book addresses many pressing question readers may have, and does so with elegance and scriptural authority. As his previous book "Hope Beyond Hell" was, this one is likewise firmly grounded in the God-breathed Scriptures. This is valuable for a university trained theology student like me. Buy many copies of these and help spread the TRULY GOOD NEWS, made accessible even to those who aren't particularly fond of reading much. The author has recently put out a video overview of this book that anyone can watch for themselves on his Youtube channel "hopebeyondhell". Anyone familiar with the Tentmaker site will appreciate that the founder of the resourceful site (Gary Amirault) is featured in the video alongside him.
