Hooray For You! is a JOY

Hooray For You! celebrates the uniqueness in all individuals. Simple illustrations and upper and lower case colorful words make this a fun book to read. Age group I would recommend would be 4+. This would make a good graduation gift for any age.

This book is AMAZINGLY poetic and as a new Mom brought a tear to my eye and butterflies in my heart....I recommend this to anyone who is proud of their children, and proud to be a parent!

A family favorite

This book is a wonderful way to help your child understand their own beauty and unique qualities. It's great for postive self-esteem. We love to read this book together. My oldest will read it to my youngest as well. I now buy this book often to give to children for gifts. It's visually beautiful and the message is wonderful.

A wonderful book for children - even 3 and older

I love this book! I bought it today for my daughter who just entered Kindergarten. She recently got glasses and now wears an eye patch and I wanted a book to help her find the wonderment in her, even if she gets teased and feels sad about herself. The book is a bit over her head (it's meant for grades 3-6,)but she and my 3 year old loved the rhymes and illustrations and I think the point of "you-ness" was wonderful! A few rhymes were awkward but overall it had a nice writing style and content. A must for any child, especially an extra special one dealing with extra special situations! Buy it!

Bold, full-color illustrations in the style of what a preschooler could draw with crayons or paints drive the point home: that each of us is a unique individual, and that uniqueness is to be celebrated. The simple text is written entirely in charming, singsong rhyme. Highly recommended for beginning readers, or as an excellent bedtime moral.
