Patti Browder is a nurse by trade who spent twelve years doing humanitarian work across eight countries. Her love for cooking, travel, and a long-held desire to write a children's book inspired her to create Hooray for Meatballs. Her overseas experience, which includes both medical and Christian missionary work, has deeply influenced every aspect of her life. Patti continues to engage in humanitarian work today.
