If asked "Which trail is the best in Hong Kong?", I may hesitate in choosing one between "Pat Sin Leng (The 8 Summits of Celestial Beings)" in New Territory and "Ham Tin Wan" prepared at Sai Kong. Pat Sin Leng is the stage 9 of Wilson Trail and Ham Tin Wan is the stage 2 of Maclehose Trail in Hong Kong, which has 4 kinds of beautiful trails, i.e. Maclehose Trail prepared 100 Km long at Sai Kong, Wilson Trail in New Territory, Lantau Trail in Lantau Island where Hong Kong International Airport is located, and Hong Kong Trail in Hong Kong Island. "Ham Tin Wan" has a wonderful beach in the middle of the trail. On the other hand, when walking on the smooth snake-like trail prepared on the ridges of Pat Sin Leng, you will be touched at the fantastic views. As always, if succeeding in arriving at the starting point of Pat Sin Leng, where a pavilion at a BBQ site with many signs for the trail, you have nothing to worry about your way to the finish since there are so many signs on the way from the starting point to the finish. Only sweat around for 30 minutes up to the ridge and you will meet the ways going smoothly to the first peak of the 8 summits of celestial beings sitting on the tops.
