In the book, the title "Honeymoon" becomes the metaphor for paradise. The 'honey' emphasizes the warmth of his heart. The "moon", on the other hand, strikes a metaphorical allusion to God's character as an everlasting contemplator in His creation; that part of His being which is ever hidden from His creatures and resides mostly in Him alone. The title of the book is thus the image of the soul's eternal quest in the creation of her mighty bridegroom. She finds her mighty bridegroom in eternal fecundity, a being whose growth never ceases but is ever in perpetuity. As the soul becomes more aware of God's existence, the soul's perception of God is growing before her eyes. However, since God's existence cannot be proved, the author understands God as a myth.
