Honeymoon Hunt by Judy Christenberry Silhouette Romance # 1803 - February 2006 It's two years since Julia's father passed away, and now her Mom is off on vacation, spending some of that life insurance. Much to Julia's surprise her Mom sends her a note saying she's extending her holiday with a man she just met. Julia's really worried that this Abe fella is after her Mom's insurance money. Nick's always chasing the gold diggers away from his Dad. He's paid off several women who have been attracted to the wealthy hotel chain owner. Now once again his Dad is having another whirlwind romance, this time all the way to the alter. Nick needs to hurry to stop the wedding or have the marriage annulled if he's too late. When Julia and Nick run into each other during their search for their parents, Julia insists that she accompany Nick until they find them. Nick doesn't know what to make of Julia. She's nothing like the women he's encountered. And he comes to realize that if her mother is anything like her, he may have a really hard time breaking up his Dad's new marriage. I truly enjoyed this book. Ms. Christenberry made Nick the cynical CEO who doesn't believe in love and Julie the sweet grade school teacher still searching for her one and only. I really liked the way Julie made Nick reevaluate his life's path and the choices he's made. This is a very good read. Lovely sweet romance
