This documentation is a memoir of sorts about the thoughts and events that surrounded the last three months that I shared with Bill Banks and the weeks following his death. My experiences and my relationship with him are offered with the hope that it will help others deal with their own personal losses. God rejoices when one of his children leaves this world to meet Him face to face, and He gives the rest of us who are left behind the comfort of knowing that life is very temporary, but His grace is eternal. When we have to say goodbye to someone we love but have the assurance that they are ready to meet the Lord, it's only a temporary separation. Be blessed by the promise that we can tell them, "I'll see you in the morning," and know that there will be no tears of sorrow once we make it home.
