Victoria, through "Homework Solutions", has found an innovative approach to empowering children to take responsibility for their own learning while allowing parents a simple way to support their children. This book gives very practical advice which can be easily implemented in any educational environment! The magic of this approach is that it places the responsibility of completing work exactly where it belongs...on the student. My hat is off to Victoria!

A Must Have For Parents and Students

As a teacher in an elementary school, I am often faced with parents who are very concerned about getting their children to successfully face and complete homework. This gives parents a tool to use to finally get their children to take ownership of their assignments. It teaches the parents how to have the child take full responsibility for scheduling their day so assignments can be done. This is a mini-lesson in using a day-timer for students. Let's face it, in the real work world, we have to know how to organize our day. The book gives parents and children the opportunity to work together as a team on a life long skill. When conferencing with my students' parents, I recommend this book if they need a solution with a homework problem.

My son truly enjoys doing homework Now!

My Son is only 7 but our homework time was a nightmare. We could not even get started and the whining would set in. I bought this book, and realized allot of the problem was me and how I was handling him. I followed the steps in the book and would help him understand what he was feeling and soon the homework time was enjoyable for both of us. He started doing so well he was picked for Author of the Month from his class, on a homework assignment he had.
