Hometown Chronicles

As a native of Athol, Massachusetts, I found this book full of interesting information that I never knew before. For such a small town, there is so much history that Dick Chaisson so eloquently describes in his book. He talks of the days when the Old Stagecouch Road ran through town and it was the only way to travel, the Pequig Hotel and how JFK even stopped by once as well as the Native Americans who once occupied the land. It is a great read for anyone who knows of the small town that is Athol.It left me craving for more information about my hometown.
