1. Every meeting should start and end with prayer. Our objective is to not only have Biblical edification and enjoy the fellowship. Equally important is to see Jesus work amid the group. Through prayer, He will tend to the needs and will minister change to the lives of people, etc. 2. The meeting should start and end on time. Times are part of the respect one has for people. The desire to extend the meeting should be controlled by the leader. (If you want to have a more ample fellowship meeting, have it once a month, etc.) 3. Participation is key to success. The leader should guide the group to this point. If more people participate in the meeting, the benefit will be greater, and the growth will be faster. * To achieve participation, it is good to know how to make the right questions and place people in a circle so they can see each other. * Do not pressure anyone to pray, read, or speak. One way is to ask if someone wants to read, speak, or pick a song. * Don't allow anyone to dominate the conversation. This would be against participation. Conclude what that person is saying by saying, "Thank you for your comments. Let's see what someone who hasn't spoken is thinking."
