A JOYFUL STORY FOR YOUNG READERS

Young cowboys and cowgirls are sure to take a liking to this version of the classic song "Home On The Range" as seen through the eyes of a small boy who lives in a big city but dreams of being "Where the deer and the antelope play." His favorite toys are Western - a covered wagon, a rocking horse, model cowboys and cattle. One night he sees a cowboy hat in the stars, and, in his imagination he follows the hat to the place he's always dreamed about. A graduate of Parsons School of Design and the illustrator of several children's titles, Mr. Ajhar fills his pages with sunny and moonlit illustrations using acrylic paints and drawing pencils.
