These two things were to prevent Jesus' escape if He w-a-s to come back from the dead as He claimed. Question, how can you keep, the God who made the heavens and the earth, confined within mere rock? The world was to witness the first and only Savior who spoke the truth all the way to His own resurrection. This is a Heavenly Contact that this world is blessed to have felt.
