A fun rom-com about Christmas spirit.

I received this book as an ARC with no expectation of a positive review. Wow! Ms. St. Amant has written such a fabulous funny Rom-Com surrounded by Christmas. There is so much expectations with family and the holidays. How much is real. How much is self-imposed. This book looks as these factors as well as secrets in a family. What a wonderful way to start the holiday season. This is a must read for all book lovers.

fun Christmas romcom

It was a fun romcom Christmas book, filled with pranks, witty banter, crazy holiday family dynamics, warm fuzzy moments and lots of laughter. I enjoyed getting to know Holly and Nick. They had completely opposite reasons for hating Christmas but I especially enjoyed how they warmed up to this special holiday together, wrapped up in family love and reminded of what the holiday is truly about. I didn’t fully understand Holly’s reasoning behind her Operation:Naughty List nor her execution of that said Operation. I just felt sorry for Nick as he endured Holly’s crazy and over-exaggerated ways and I didn’t love Holly when she turned on the saccharin. But, as all romcoms go, their acquaintance bloomed into friendship then more. If you enjoy cute Christmas romcoms, you will certainly enjoy this book.
