For nearly twenty years William has been writing short stories about summer vacations and the Christmas Holiday season. His writings begin when he was growing up in Culver City California, a town not un-similar to the fictional town of Lake Woebegon. It includes his memories of his parents over decorating the house for the holidays and all of his wacky relatives and friends. Everyone can relate to his tales about school days and going on summer vacations by car to places like Ducy's Lodge and being enamored with the opposite sex. William peppers his work with his own brand of tongue in cheek philosophy. Often poetic in style the stories continue through his later years. Building a boat that he lived on in Marina Del Rey, stories about working for the RCA TV service company in Hollywood to all the women he usually did not meet and finally having the experience of the "First Wife." There is just something up lifting about these stories and the unique way William tells a tale.
